Dale Hubbard,
the owner, writes about his farm/business: A native of Hartland,
and a graduate from Gorham State College (University of Southern
Maine) in 1970, I was a career Naval Officer and Naval Aviator for
20 years. Returning to the farm where I grew up, my wife Christine,
an Occupational Therapist, and I are raising our two girls, Hattie
and Dale. The cattle are gone now, however, I produce 150 tons of
timothy forage for the horse market, restore old airplanes and make
the best smoked beef brisket or smoked pulled pork for catered events
and a few country fairs. Last year I won MOFGA's blue ribbon for
"Best New Food" at their fair.
